Where can I see the rankings for the Junior Master Circuit?
After each tournament the ranking is calculated and published on this page (on the website of the Dutch Badminton Association): uitslagen en standen (scroll down to Junior Master ranking).
Are there cash prizes for the winners?
In the age category U15 & U17 cash prizes are awarded to the winners. In the other age categories a tangible prize is awarded.
How is the tournament structured?
All singles categories are played in two stages. In the first stage players are distributed in groups of 3 players minimum, playing a single round-robin. This ensures everyone plays at least two singles matches. The winners of the group stage qualify for the main draw which is played according to a single elimination structure. In doubles and mixed doubles all categories have a single elimination structure.
Who is responsible for the seeding of the Junior Master Gulicktournament?
As per the tournament regulations the seeding is provided by the Dutch Badminton Association (Badminton Nederland).
When will the finals take place?
Generally all finals are played on Sunday afternoon of the second tournament day.
Can I buy shuttles during the tournament?
Yes, you can buy shuttles during the tournament at match control.
Do you provide lodging for the players?
While we do not provide lodging, we do offer suggestions for affordable lodging relatively close to the sports venue here: facilities and lodging.
Is there a catering present in the sports venue?
Yes. During the tournament a varied catering with pasta, healthy sandwiches, and more will be present. All participants also receive a free bowl of soup.
When will the draw be published?
Results of the draw will be published on toernooi.nl as soon as possible after the draw has taken place. We will also post this in the news, on toernooi.nl and on our facebook page.
